Adversity: Where are we now and how did we get here? Historical concepts, background, and context-specific considerations
May 20, 2026
It has been a decade since guidance publications and “best practices” on adversity characterization and communication for pathology findings were published by the STP and ESTP. Since that time, there has been continued interest and discussion on how to better understand the unique considerations and where potential gaps or challenges occur in the application, utility and challenges of adversity calls since the time of these original publications.
This webinar is the first in a series of webinars focused on providing information on the context and current application of adversity to toxicologic pathology findings, discuss unique challenges in applying these approaches for specific organ systems and/or therapeutic modalities and discuss ways to address challenges and approaches in the assessment, reporting, interpretation and translational considerations of adversity for pathology findings.
